Meet The Office Team
Director
Tia Thomas BA (Hons), CMgr, MBA
Following graduation from Staffordshire University I spent a number of years working in education welfare before joining the team at Macpherson O’Sullivan in January 2009 which has since progressed into Shropshire Farm Vets.
My main focus and passion is the operational side of the business, HR, managing, developing systems and looking for solutions to meet changing business needs.
Outside of work I’m a full-time mum and taxi service to my two daughters, supporting them in their dramatic ambitions.
Business Administrator
Siobhan Harrington-Hayes
I moved to Shropshire and joined Shropshire Farm Vets in June 2017. I have a range of experience in reception, customer service and stock specialist roles. These skills have come in handy when helping to cover on Reception and Pharmacy.
My main role is business admin which includes health and safety, fleet coordination, stock ordering, course organisation along with many other tasks.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my partner, cat and rescue hens plus dedicating a bit of time each weekend to volunteering at a cat and dog rescue.

I joined Shropshire Farm Vets in January 2018.
Over the past five years working in reception and administration based roles, I have developed a wide range of knowledge that helps with my main responsibilities within the practice of diary management and communication with clients.

Pharmacy Reception Team Leader
Charlotte Evans BA (Hons)
I’ve worked at Shropshire Farm Vets sporadically over the course of the past 4 years leaving in 2016 to take the opportunity to attend University.
Living and studying in Leeds, I was able to pursue my love for the arts and I’m now the very proud owner of a BA (Hons) Fine Art degree!
I have experience in a number of customer service based roles and on my return to the Vets I will now predominately be carrying out dispensary-related tasks.
In my spare time I like to be outside riding or competing my horse, as well as drawing pet-portrait commissions to keep building on my portfolio.
Clinical & TB Receptionist
Shelby Macera
I joined Shropshire Farm vets in June 2021 as a clinical receptionist.
In my previous role, exceptional customer service was one of the core values, which is something I look forward to applying to my role here at Shropshire Farm Vets! I live in Muxton, Telford with my partner Cole and our Siberian Husky Luna.
My favourite way to spend my spare time is weekends away with friends and of course the dogs!

"I joined the team at Shropshire Farm Vets in July 2022, I have lived in Shropshire my whole life apart from taking two years out working and travelling and around Australia.
I have a range of experience from working in different admin roles over the years. Before joining the team here at SFVs I completed my level 3 diploma in Land Based Studies at Reaseheath College.
Outside of work you will find me either walking my cockapoo or socialising with friends and family."
Pharmacy Courier
Will Bowen
I joined Shropshire Farm vets in July 2021 as pharmacy courier, having spent my early career in manufacturing and warehouse management, managing teams of up to 75 direct reports.
Four years ago I decided to take a different career path and started employment with CIS Holstein UK as a milk recorder and genomic sampler; during this time I met and worked alongside some hardworking farmers who are often under-appreciated for their dedication and hard work.
Outside of work I have been married for 30 years to a hard-working NHS health care assistant, we have five boys and one daughter, who is currently at studying at Nottingham University to be a paediatric nurse.
We have six adventurous grandchildren and counting and also have small menagerie consisting of 150 chickens, ducks, turkeys and geese, together with a few pigs, sheep and hopefully soon some golden Guernsey goats – but don’t tell the wife!
Pharmacy Receptionist
Lucy Maginess
I have recently joined the Shropshire Farm Vets team in May 2024 as a Pharmacy receptionist. I have grown up on a dairy and beef farm in North Shropshire and have spent the past 4 years in customer service and admin roles within agriculture.
In my spare time you'll find me working on my baking business, or outside with the dog. I am a keen member of young farmers and am often found socialising with friends.
I also love travelling and visiting new places and recently took the opportunity to explore New Zealand. It was a holiday of a lifetime!
